Quick answers about how ROVEA works.

How does booking a guide on ROVEA work?
Pick a city, browse eligible guide profiles, and send a booking request with your dates and group size. The guide can accept or decline the request. If online payment is enabled for an eligible booking, the available checkout options appear after acceptance.
How do you verify the local guides?
Identity verification submissions are paused during the hackathon beta. Profiles only appear as verified when they already have an approved KYC status; demo profiles are clearly labelled.
What is the refund policy?
Traveler cancellations more than 24 hours before service are eligible for a 100% refund. Cancellations between 2 and 24 hours are eligible for 50%, and cancellations under 2 hours are eligible for 0%. Guide- or admin-initiated cancellations are eligible for 100%. Which languages do guides speak?
All guides speak Arabic, and most speak English. Many also offer French, Spanish, Urdu, or other languages — each profile lists the guide's confirmed languages.
What payment methods do you accept?
During the closed beta, checkout is sandbox-only when enabled. It is for testing and is not intended to collect real money.
